Amazing sunset trip on the Border Rose last night. The dolphins came out to play for most of the 2 hour sailing. They were feeding, so there were salmon being tossed about. Wasn’t the best of sunset, but seeing the dolphins made up for it. šš¬š„ļø

Walkies round the walls!
A beautiful day in Berwick upon Tweed. A watery sun has come out, and made it all the nicer on my walk round the Berwick Walls with the fur children.
Dolphins, dolphins, everywhere!! š¬š¬š¬
A brilliant “Seafari” on the Border Rose last Saturday night.
The sun was shining, and the dolphins came out to play.
I’ve been on this boat trip a few times, but this time I was privelaged to see these magnificent creatures right up close. Even a few seals popped up to see what all the fuss was about.
I thoroughly recommend doing this boat trip if you are ever in Berwick upon Tweed.
Groynes!
I took these pictures of the groynes on Spittal Beach only a couple of years ago, now they are completely buried by the sand. Anyone new to the beach would never know they were there.
Ice Ice Baby!!
The temperature barely got over 0 dgrs today. The sun shone over Spittal, but a freezing fog hung over Berwick.
Beautiful Berwick
On my walk home from town today, I was lucky enough to capture these shots of Berwick just as the light was fading. The old bridge is closed for repairs, so it was easy to flit from side to side.
Sunset on The Tweed
What a beautiful evening in Berwick…. A sunset walk with Sydney and Elsie.. Just time for a play on the beach, then a quick paddle for Elsie..
Estuary trip on the Border Rose.
A boat trip on the Border Rose, down the Tweed estuary and out to sea. Was hoping to see some dolphins, which have been putting on a magnificent show in recent months, but sadly not on this trip. Saw some seals and plenty of stunning scenery. An amazing trip, and will definitely do it again before they stop for the season.
Flying geese….
A beautiful evening in Berwick. The sun has been shining, and it’s stillĀ warm. Obviously not warm enough for these geese, who are all flying south for the winter..
