Never once did I think I would ever live in a house that I could see dolphins from the front garden! Not the best of pics, but it was brilliant just to watch them jumping about the Border Rose boat. I bet the people on the boat trip were over the moon!! 🐬
I took these pictures of the groynes on Spittal Beach only a couple of years ago, now they are completely buried by the sand. Anyone new to the beach would never know they were there.
I found some of these a few years ago on Spittal Beach, and on todays dog walk I found more. A quick Google search says that they are Sea Gooseberries.
The temperature barely got over 0 dgrs today. The sun shone over Spittal, but a freezing fog hung over Berwick.
On my walk home from town today, I was lucky enough to capture these shots of Berwick just as the light was fading. The old bridge is closed for repairs, so it was easy to flit from side to side.
A fantastic day spent with friends at the Christmas Market in Princess St Gardens.. Wed morning, so not too busy, but absolutely packed by late afternoon. Lots of mulled wine and the weather gods were kind to us too, so a great day was had by all.
What a beautiful evening in Berwick…. A sunset walk with Sydney and Elsie.. Just time for a play on the beach, then a quick paddle for Elsie..
