We went to feed the ducklings, but they must have been further up the canal. So me, Sydney and Elsie just sat and watched the world go by.
It doesn’t matter if its a swan, duck, cormorant, duckling or seagull, Sydney and Elsie are mesmerised by them all. The 10 ducklings are definitely Sydney’s favourite.
Sydney and Elsie have their own Facebook page and they were very lucky to be sent some goodies from an admirer. They are seriously “striking a pose”.
The pros of living by the canal are the scenery, the cons are fox poo!!
Sydney taking in the views of the fishermen on the beach while enjoying the beautiful sunset. Tried to get a picture of them both together, but Elsie was having none of it!!
So many paths to choose when walking along the canal. What direction to choose, Folkestone or Hythe? There is also the promenade that runs parallel with the canal, so you can easily choose a sea or canal view. The canal is crossed by these bridges that are dotted along the route.
After a paddle in the English Channel to cool the dog’s down, we had a beautiful evening to walk along the canal path to Hythe.
