Sydney and Elsie are making the most of beautiful Spittal Beach before we move down south next week. Although we are still going to be near a beach, it’s a shingle one. Me and the dog’s will definitely miss this place.
First paddle of the year in the North Sea.
Me and my sister popped over the border into Scotland for the day. Had a lovely meal of haggis and black pudding pizza…. Yes, you read that correctly!! Then when to the harbour to feed the seals. Beautiful creatures, I could have stayed there all day.
I love travelling on the East Coast line. The views from the train are amazing. I always imagine that the people on the train pass through Berwick and Spittal and think, “wow, what a lovely place, I must visit there one day”
I love this rock structure, the big slab stands majestic at low tide.
It’s not very often you can walk right behind it, but it’s a really low tide today, so i took my chance.
The Walls that surround Berwick-upon-Tweed. A lovely walk on a sunny day that takes twice as long with two Westies who have to sniff everything!!
A beautiful little cairn on the beach. Of course Sydney peed on it.
