Elsie loves pebbles, so she is a bit upset that she’s not allowed to play with these painted ones that we keep finding dotted around the canal.
It’s always nice to find little suprises when walking along the canal path.
I will never get bored of sunsets like this.
I had beautiful sunsets up in Northumberland, and am lucky enough to have such scenic ones down here in Kent.
So many paths to choose when walking along the canal. What direction to choose, Folkestone or Hythe? There is also the promenade that runs parallel with the canal, so you can easily choose a sea or canal view. The canal is crossed by these bridges that are dotted along the route.
A beautiful evening stroll with the fur children. Nice to see Mr & Mrs Swan with the family, out for a glide along the canal. We also have two cormorants who like to sunbathe canal side, but they weren’t out tonight.
Another beautiful evening on Spittal Beach. Not as hot as southern England, but Sydney and Elsie still like a cooling paddle in the sea. Sydney likes to overcome his “short man syndrome” by doing a bit of rock climbing!!
Beautiful flowers growing in my neighbours garden. I’m sure she won’t mind me sharing these pictures..
