We went to feed the ducklings, but they must have been further up the canal. So me, Sydney and Elsie just sat and watched the world go by.
It doesn’t matter if its a swan, duck, cormorant, duckling or seagull, Sydney and Elsie are mesmerised by them all. The 10 ducklings are definitely Sydney’s favourite.
Sydney and Elsie have their own Facebook page and they were very lucky to be sent some goodies from an admirer. They are seriously “striking a pose”.
After a paddle in the English Channel to cool the dog’s down, we had a beautiful evening to walk along the canal path to Hythe.
Another beautiful evening on Spittal Beach. Not as hot as southern England, but Sydney and Elsie still like a cooling paddle in the sea. Sydney likes to overcome his “short man syndrome” by doing a bit of rock climbing!!
Sydney and Elsie are making the most of beautiful Spittal Beach before we move down south next week. Although we are still going to be near a beach, it’s a shingle one. Me and the dog’s will definitely miss this place.
After a run on the beach and a nice paddle, Elsie likes to have a cooling lay down in the grass..
